Changed Your Mind?
If you’ve changed your mind about a purchase, we offer refunds and exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order. Please follow these steps:
- Submit your return request within 14 days of delivery by contacting our support team at admin@justdiningfurniture.co.uk
- Ensure the item is in a resellable condition, unused and unassembled. Pack it securely in the original packaging or an equivalent alternative to ensure it arrives back in good condition.
- Include the return slip in the package and write your order number on the outside of the box.
- Ship the item to the return address provided after submitting your request. We’ll arrange a pickup with one of our partnered couriers, but please keep a receipt/proof of postage as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
- Once we receive your item, we’ll process the refund or exchange within 14 working days, credited to your original payment method.
- Please note that the original delivery fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
Return Charges for Unwanted Items
When returning unwanted items, the original delivery fee is non-refundable. Additionally, if the items are returned in an unsellable condition (not caused by transit issues), a 10% restocking fee will apply. If you received free delivery but no longer want the item, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Tips for Returning Items
- Keep your returns slip and the original packaging until you are certain about your decision. This helps avoid extra costs on packaging materials.
- Avoid assembling items if you’re unsure about keeping them, as they must be returned in the same condition.
- Request a receipt from the courier at collection to enable tracking of your return.
Faulty or Damaged Items
We strive to ensure all items arrive in perfect condition. If your item is faulty or damaged, you can request a replacement or a full refund. Here’s what to do:
- Submit a return request, selecting “Damaged Product” as the reason.
- Provide detailed information about the fault or damage, including photos if requested. This helps us process your return quickly.
- Keep the item packaged securely to avoid further damage during transit.
- Schedule a pickup time that suits you, and be sure to obtain a receipt from the courier for tracking purposes.
Return Fees for Faulty/Damaged Items
There is no charge for returning faulty or damaged items. You will receive a full refund, including the initial delivery and collection fees.
Beyond the 14-Day Return Window
We recommend inspecting items thoroughly within 14 days of delivery. If you notice damage after this period but within the 12-month manufacturer warranty, contact us with photos. If the damage is due to a manufacturing defect, we can offer a replacement (if in stock) or a similar product of equal value.
Made-to-Order Products
For made-to-order items, cancellations are permitted within 14 days of ordering. After 14 days, cancellations are not possible due to the bespoke nature of these products.
Returns from Republic of Ireland
For orders delivered to the Republic of Ireland, customers must arrange their own return, covering any shipping and customs charges.
Refund Process
Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method. For card payments, please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account. For bank transfers, refunds will be sent to the original bank account.
